MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A FACILITY MANAGER, CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE A DEFINITE PLUS...MUST TYPE 35+ WPM. Please, all others need not apply.

As a "Best of Class" service professional, you will be expected to respond to client calls, resolve facility service problems, create work orders, dispatch client employees and vendors promptly and accurately, verify satisfactory completion, and close the work order upon completion. You will need to be available to take calls, answer questions and resolve critical issues pertaining to facility service management. PDS's focus on service will ensure that you have the tools and training necessary to exceed your client's expectations. Successful associates will possess a strong commitment to the client, superior telephone skills and familiarity with Facility Manager's expectations.

This position is worked from your home. You must be a self motivated individual with self discipline and the desire to succeed. You must maintain a quiet environment when working on the phone. You may take as many calls as you are able to complete successfully.

This is a contract position and requires that you have a Pentium II 450Mhz PC or higher with 64M of RAM or higher, an ISDN or DSL connection (or better) to the internet, separate phone line(s) to answer business calls with.

Training Specialist (Not hiring)

PDS - Professional Dispatch Services - offers outstanding opportunities for candidates with proven training experience. As a PDS Training Specialist, you will be responsible for providing training to PDS customer service representatives involving customer service, PDS processes and procedures and specific customer knowledge. All members of the team are expected to be focused on one goal: Exceeding our client's expectations by providing "Best of Class" Service.

The Training Specialist II position has the following responsibilities:

  • present training and "coaching" to new and current employees
  • maintain a strong customer, product and operational knowledge base
  • maintain strong communication within the CSRs
  • promote a flexible and professional image in all aspects of the trainer's interaction
  • ascertain performance levels by evaluating new hire contract associates against
  • established guidelines
  • provide feedback regarding performance levels
  • must be willing and able to travel some, when required

Qualifications:

  • two years as a full time trainer within the facility services industry and/or call center environment
  • proficient in Adult Learning and Accelerated Learning methodologies
  • ability to provide experience-based suggestions for the re-design, development and/or presentation of instructor-led and other learning opportunities
  • ability to adjust with constant change and time constraints. Ability to ̉coachÓ when necessary

Customer Service Representative - Entry Level (Not hiring)

As a PDS Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will be responsible for providing service solutions to clients who need facility service. This is a fast-paced inbound/outbound call center environment and all members of the team are focused on one goal: Exceeding our client's expectations by providing "Best of Class" Service.

Must be organized, detailed, and possess strong computer skills. This position will be responsible for call center, inbound and outbound calls for facility service requests. MUST TYPE 35+ WPM......BILINGUAL A PLUS!!!

Job Experience:

Customer Service (of any kind), Data Entry, Microsoft Word and Typing. PDS's focus will ensure that you have the tools and training necessary to exceed our client's expectations. Successful associates will possess a strong commitment to the client, superior telephone and interpersonal skills and familiarity with PCs. A general knowledge of the service industry is VERY HELPFUL.

Basic Function:

Reporting to the Call Center Manager, the CSR position is an entry-level position whose primary responsibility is to act as backup support for the experienced CSRs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Answering the telephone and providing information to customers and contractors.
  • Assisting customers with requests for service.
  • Assisting new customers with the service request process, answering questions and processing their requests.
  • Assisting with dispatching of contractors to appropriate work sites.
  • Assisting with customer satisfaction surveys.

Requirements:

The ideal entry-level CSR candidate will possess the following skills and characteristics:

  • Previous customer service experience - one year minimum
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and multiple tasks effectively
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to be extremely flexible and detail oriented
  • Great interpersonal skills
